Welcome to our website. We are a user run charity for people living with myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and allied conditions, and their carers. Many people with these conditions are unable to live a normal life so a sense of isolation is very common. Our members vary widely in the severity of their symptoms, from those that struggle to remain in the workforce to the bedbound.

We have about 140 members, mostly from the London Boroughs of Southwark, Lambeth and Lewisham, but also from surrounding boroughs: Croydon, Greenwich, Bromley, Bexley, Wandsworth, Westminster, as well as a small number who have moved out of London but still like to receive our newsletter.

We currently offer:

  • quarterly newsletter (available as a printed copy or by email)

  • up-to-date information about sickness and disability benefits

  • social meetings

  • art, meditation, qigong, and a weekly creative social meeting on Zoom

  • lunch club

  • Text chat groups: one for younger adults and another for all members

  • transport fund for specified purposes

You are welcome to try activities before joining our group.

If you do join, we take your privacy very seriously and will never share your details with any other organisation.
